Problem with "NoEnlarge" export setting

Postby rygel16 » Mon Jul 09, 2007 11:47 pm

Hi,
thanks for this very nice tool. Without it, "SPGM" wouldn't be that easy to use... :)

I've a problem with the "NoEnlarge" setting in the export.ini. (in 2.4.7 and 2.5.0) No matter if I enter "true" or "false" the program will enlarge all files to the given resolution. A smaller image stretched to 1280x.. looks of course horrible. So what am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm exporting the pictures using "Standard SPGM" and here's my export.ini: http://data.wr975.com/export.ini

Hi,

You're welcome, glad you like it :)

I downloaded your config file and exported the sample gallery that comes with Gallery Mage, but no files seemed to be enlarged. Some suggestions:

- Remove (optionally, backup first) your Gallery Mage "conf" directory completely, and re-install. Try your settings again and see if it helps.
- Otherwise, if you can upload ZIP file with a sample gallery that exhibits the problem, I can try and run it and diagnose the issue. Just a single picture that exhibits this problem would do. If you do this, also include your entire /conf/ directory.

Have you used older versions of Gallery Mage? Did they have the same issue?

Cheers,
Will

Hello,
thanks for your reply. :)

I've had the same problem with version 2.4.7.

I've followed your advice and installed 2.5.0 in a new folder. My modifications:
- Erased all plugins except ex_spgm.ini
- Export.ini - Width=1280
- Export.ini - Height=-1

And the same result: It'll enlarge small fotos (but not all? :o ). I've tried it with the sample gallery. Out of the five pictures it rescaled three pictures to 1280x~1000 and left two pictures at 800 x 600.

I've uploaded the complete GalleryMage folder with exported sample pictures plus one of my pictures, so you can test yourself: http://data.wr975.com/GM.zip

I'm using Windows XP SP2 + Java Runtime 6u2

Best regards,
Alex
